Get shirty.

This could be my favourite shirt yet. I got it just yesterday.
Made quite a dash to see what I can churn out of it pronto.
I improvised a bit by coiling one of my belts round and round my wrist as it were a snake.
Then got into character.. Head bowed down. The usual.

Then like a frickin' bolt out of the blue I realized this supposed churning had to eventually take place. You'd think it was something premeditated. I was just about to publish this but then went off veering around recent inspiration pictures from the bulk of my files and then BAM! I saw something all too familiar. Apparently this image had been lodged somewhere deep in the crevasses of my brain and all it required was for me to purchase a similar sheer shirt?? That is some eerie, trippy telepathy. I still don't buy that but what the heck. I probably should have edited the picture the other way round.
You see what I mean??                                             tommy ton for style.com

Over sized blouse nicked from Mum.
Sheer. Layering. Clean. Minimal.
Let's continue to pray for the people of Japan.

Lovers in Japan

Probably the prettiest vintage dress I own.
Pairing it with the only leather jacket I own. Which is more than 10 years old.
My prayers go out to the earthquake victims in Japan.
" Tonight maybe we're gonna run. Dreaming of the Osaka sun. "
I've always loved this Coldplay song.

Didn't see this expression coming eh? Haha

Thursday.

I spent the latter half of the day laughing silly to lines such as these..
" Like the elevator business, being a writer has its ups and downs. At least I made my last name sound aristocratic. That should get me laid. "
" I don't know what's going on, but in a typically feminine manner I'll allow confusion and being flustered to make me cry up a storm. "
Although I'm tempted to jot down the more obscene lines, thou shall not. You might reckon they're jolly good lines. Nothing better than a hip re-interpretation of the classics eh? Injecting words such as BTW, iphone, WTF to your outdated classics is like snoop dizzling as Snoop Dogg would say. I always wish he'd be my uncle. And the irony is that I do have an uncle who resembles the West Coast rapper. TING!
You might prolly find me listening to these if you were snooping outside my room right now.
Strokes fan anyone?

This came out almost too neat. Prim and grim. I've dissected them for you.
And assembled in varying shades of grey.

I love how this cardigan transforms into a onesie when buttoned up and worn over something or vice versa.
Its easy and pretty addictive and this could be one of my last attempts at layering.
I just realized its getting warm real fast.

I have another set of  "oh here is me looking down at my shoes, or staring at my toes" pictures again.
Just to warn you.
M - O - N - O - T - O - N - Y.
Anyways. Let us CTFO. That was solely addressed to me.
I wanted to let you guys have a peek at these before I bundle and stuff em' away.
But before that, the first picture - of what seems like a cardboard cutout of a distorted being is the result of being bored. Bored to the extent that you think you're an 'artist' and that you can create something 'artistic' out of your regular boxy Neutrogena packaging. That is one of the irks about our generation. We throw the word 'artist' around. Like you've had one too many Kfc burgers and you're tired of processed food and you let out a groan.
I thought my little Santi Claus would give our new friend some company.
IT is wearing my Mac lipstick. And currently reading the book they're standing on.
Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion. Young zombie love. The first of its kind.
Because R is a zombie who falls in love with the very much alive - Julie. Brain intact and all.
Tricky title. Tummy jiggles. Zombie apocalypse anyone?
This sweater reminded me of the Mulleavy sisters. Maybe its the meshy vibes I'm getting.
Was about to sneeze here. A big one. Dotted all over with these tiny glassy beads.
This one's got tiny holes here and there but I really don't mind. I love the chunky royal looking buttons.
Its always hard to squeeze in a decent outfit picture before heading out so these were some of the few woollens that got slaughtered out in the cold. I'll try and fit in another round before I stash em away fer good.

Another Sunday.
Denim on denim with a little orange parting them allies at the waist. Decided I need a little bling in my life.
Listened to Suede's Beautiful Ones over and over. How epic were the 90s??
Reading Twitterature. Nah. Me don't tweet. Twat or twut.
Actually, Twitter + Literature. Been studying Literature all my life. This was inevitable.
